After completing my super-senior season at the University of Tennessee as a member of the Lady Volunteer volleyball team, I was looking to extend my career professional internationally. When contemplating where to pursue my off-season training, Petrone’s Wood Gym undoubtedly came to mind as my number one choice. After sustaining a season-ending ACL injury my actual senior year of college, I never felt like I returned to the max potential I had pre-injury the following season. Given my lack of height in the volleyball world, I relied heavily on my athleticism and jumping abilities, specifically, to give me a leg up on the competition. Having expressed my goals, Petrone tailor made a workout program specific to my needs and I began to see results as soon as after the first month. In comparison to other gyms in the area, Petrone’s lacks the aesthetic appeal many fitness goers are easily attached to, but that’s what separates him from the competition.
